Summer sumary 2012

 I have the privilege of baptizing a few people for God’s kingdom this summer. Some of them that came on a missions trip and their lives were changed during that week and others that I have been able to disciple them to become Christ followers.

I have the privilege of baptizing a few people for God’s kingdom this summer. Some of them that came on a missions trip and their lives were changed during that week and others that I have been able to disciple them to become Christ followers. Here are some pictures of the baptisms we performed at a river this summer. God is good, My friend Tony came with his youth group on a missions trip, and while they were here, some of the kids that were not Christians yet decided to be baptize and become Christ followers. For me it was an honor to be part of their baptism, because even though I’m not performing a discipleship to them because of the distance, I’m at peace because I know my friend Tony is doing an amazing job with them.

Now here is the case of another soul that we won for Christ, you guys know that we are always trying to find new tools to do outreach. It’s a passion that we have to reach the lost. Well, since we put the basketball ring at our church we have been able to reach more youth for the kingdom. This kid from this picture comes from a very, super, hipper, mega catholic family. We have been teach him to become a follower of Christ and in the short time he has been around us, he has become a blessing, he is a great kid who is hungry to know more about God.  

Through the new album we are promoting now God has open the doors to witness to a bigger crow. We have been going to a lot of secular tv shows to perform and also to promote our album release which is gonna be on September 23. Many of these tv shows have ask us to come back to their shows because they like our music and the message we present in our songs. God is good, sometimes we are not planning to do big things but he prepares us for them. Our youth ministry has been growing a lot, we have been music as a tool to do so. We have been spending a lot of time discipline the kids so they can disciple others.

Every tv show that go to sees us different. They know we are not trying to put up a show of to wear the nicest clothing, they can sense that within our music we try to always carry God’s presence.

For the next 3 weeks we are gonna continue going to tv shows promoting our album release but most important, promoting God’s kingdom to a secular world that doesn’t know him.

I know many of you have been wondering about the retreat Cristo Urbano, let me tell you, it was awesome. We had around 250 kids, one got baptized (is now become a strong Christian in our church) and many lives were totally bless. The sermons were great, games were great, concerts, everything that when on that weekend was incredible.
