What miracles have I
seen happening in my ministry?
Lots of
people coming to Christ are always a big win for us. I’m very happy to see how
through the years God has been supporting everything we been doing.
In one
specific event, God showed up in a great way. There is a church across town
that organized a weekend revival in their congregation and their main target
were the younger generation of their community. They invited us to perform one
night.
For that specific night, they invited
the students of their local public high school. In order for high school kids are
interested in going to an event like that, the church member went around saying
that a rap group was coming to perform. It was awesome; lots of student
received the gospel very well. I saw around 30 kids crying and surrendering
their lives to Christ. For us, that was a big win!
I know that
the kind of evangelistic work we do around the country it’s not easy. Because
most of the times we don’t get to see the final work of God in people’s lives.
But we know that our job is only to spread the seed… God will make that seed
grow whenever he wants. It’s very rejoicing when we hear testimonies of people
that come to the lord throughout our evangelistic work. It’s always a miracle
when year’s later people say that a simple word that they needed to hear from
God changed their life.
We also went to another event about a
month ago near downtown. In this particular one, the only music welcomed to
that event was hip hop/rap underground. It was A very lyrical experience for
those who went. These events draw the attention of a lot of non Christian’s
rapper from the area. It was powerful; at the end of the night Christians and
non Christian renewed their commitment to Christ that night.
Another
miracle that we experienced about a month ago was the baptism of two of our
kids in the youth group, Hunter and Frederick. It’s always a joy for me to see
God working in a teenager’s life. These two have been great; they have been
experiencing a tremendous growth. And we can tell how serious they have been
with their decision. I know that very soon they are going to be bringing others
to the lord.
A story of a life changing
experience:
About two months ago, we had a big
concert in a big church here in town. For this specific concert, we invited my
niece zoey to sing one of our songs with us. “No Temere” It’s a song that talks
about perseverance through tough moments. It’s a song that has touched many,
because it encourages people to trust God no matter what.
Before we
started singing the song, we share Zoey’s testimony. She was born in only one
arm, and we told people that her situation doesn’t stop her from worshiping and
thanking God every single day of her life. She is like an angel for our family,
our church, our community. Everyone who gets to be around her gets to feel
something special. God’s love flows through her. That night in that concert,
people were touch in a mighty way. When she sing a lot of people were crying
and after the concert many testify how great our God is because they
experienced looking at Zoey. God is good.
I hope you
all have a great rest of the year that you get to eat a lot and enjoy that time
with family and friends. I’m excited because at the end of this year I’m
getting married to my beautiful fiancé Lenae. Please keep us in your prayers
and merry Christmas and happy New Year!
